Privacy notice

This site collects one thing: an email address, if you choose to give us one. This notice explains what happens to it.

Who we are

Caseform AI Limited is the data controller. We are a company registered in Scotland, company number SC852128, with our registered office at Glendeuglie House, Glenfarg, Perth PH2 9QH. You can reach us at admin@caseform.ai.

What we collect, and why

If you join the waitlist we collect your email address and the date you submitted it. We use it for one purpose: to write to you about the launch of Caseform. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell or share it.

We do not ask for your name, your firm, your telephone number or anything else. We do not run analytics on this site and we do not profile visitors.

Our lawful basis

Consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR. You give it by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing admin@caseform.ai or by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Where we send you marketing email we also rely on your consent under regulation 22 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.

Who else sees it

The waitlist form is handled by Netlify, who host this site. Your submission is stored by them and made available to us, and they screen it for spam using Akismet, a service operated by Automattic. Both act as our processors for that step. Our email is hosted by our email provider, who processes it on our behalf.

We do not transfer your data outside the United Kingdom except to the extent those providers do so in the ordinary course of operating their services, under the safeguards required by Chapter V of the UK GDPR.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until twelve months after Caseform launches and we have written to you, whichever comes first. If you withdraw consent we delete your address promptly.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive it in a portable form. Because we hold only an email address given with your consent, in practice these usually amount to "please delete it", which we will do on request.

Email admin@caseform.ai and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or by telephone on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change this notice we will change the date at the top. This site is in pre-launch and this notice covers the site only. When the product itself launches, handling of case material will be governed by a separate and considerably longer notice.
